Gemmy DT Calcite twin (Consie Prince Coll.)

Item Description

A beautiful, gemmy, calcite from Elmwood. The water-clear crystal is doubly terminated and has well-defined twinning planes on three sides. This fine crystal has the desirable, gemmier golden-amber terminations. This is an excellent crystal, with only a small bit of attached barite. Both terminations are gently cleaved and a bit of very trivial edge wear is noted. This remains a highly representative and beautiful example of the species and famed locale. Ex Consie Prince Collection. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!! A classic and excellent Elmwood calcite.
