A wonderful and aesthetic cluster of razor-sharp, bladed axinite crystals with superb clove-brown color, gemmy clarity, and glassy luster. The large crystal is doubly terminated and has a trivial bit of edge wear. The side car crystal has an out-of-sight chip on a back edge. An outstanding 360-degree specimen and comes from the Al Ordway Collection. Purchased in 1993, when these were coming out. These Puiva axinites set the world-wide standard for the species and are seldom available in this quality today. Valued at $900-1000 and worth it. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
