Item Description

A classic, champagne-colored topaz crystal from the recent 2011 find in Pakistan. The blocky crystal is a water-clear gem. Both terminations are frosted and lightly etched on this doubly terminated crystal. Four of the five prism faces are water-clear, like windowpanes. The fifth face is frosted and contacted, but has very little damage. Part of a lower corner is contacted, but has very little damage, per se. Complete all-around and in excellent shape. The very light and modest interior clouds and crazing surfaces actually add much character. This is fine cutter-quality material with rich color. Please note that these crystals can fade to colorless when exposed to sunlight, or possibly any light, so it should be kept out of the light if possible to help retain its color. 57 grams. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
