Gemmy, doubly-terminated Rubellite

A very pretty and interesting, flattened, doubly terminated, gemmy rubellite crystal from this famous district. Most of the highly lustrous well-striated crystal is a pretty blush pink, except for the unusual pyramidal termination with a nifty flange, which is a beautiful vivid pink. Complete all-around. A small edge ding is noted, but is certainly only a modest detraction to this cutie. We are not sure of the exact pegmatite. The accompanying label says Queen Mine with a $350 price. 9.84 carats.
