Item Description

Gem dioptase and dioptase in general, is rare from this famous mine. This exceptional specimen hosts an aesthetically set 1.3 cm cluster of gemmy and lustrous, rich emerald-green crystals on the bubbly light powder-blue chrysocolla botryoids. The large dioptase crystal is 8 mm. The base and part of one side have been sawed to enhance the display view. Very choice and rare combination material from the Bruce Murphy Collection.
