A fine gem, terminated prismatic green diopside crystal from this classic New York locale. Glassy and lustrous prism faces are water-clear or frosted and the sharp termination faces are coated and pitted. Complete all-around and pristine. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 6419 and acquired from Pala Properties in Ventura in 1971. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record). Classic New York diopside.
