Gemmy Diaspore (classic material)

Item Description

A classic, gemmy, yellow-green crystal from the historic mines of Turkey. The body is water-clear and the partial termination is translucent on the shimmering, striated front of this tabular parallel-growth crystal. The front is in great shape. Both ends and the back of the termination are dinged and the back prism face is a cleave, which shows the glorious water-clear gemminess and color saturation. This is a large crystal for the locale, at 15 grams mass, and is valued at $500-600.
