Gemmy Danburite w/ Quartz

Striking, intergrown, very gemmy, colorless danburite prisms form an impressive and aesthetic large two-sided specimen from the famous mines at Charcas. The stunning, sharp, chisel terminations of the two very glassy, well-striated primary prisms are water-clear with few interior veils. The primary crystal is 11.7 cm long. The two primary crystals are pristine and are nicely accented by smaller danburites and drusy quartz coatings. This fine, class large piece is probably from the 1980s finds. Valued at $1750-2000.
