Item Description

Fabulous, gemmy, metallic-bright, cherry-red, cuprite cuboctahedrons in an aesthetic pod on a matrix plate rich in massive cuprite from recent finds at the Milpillas Mine. The striking large crystal is 1.0 cm. Some bruising is noted, but this remains a fine and rich example of the species and locale. Oxide zone minerals are becoming rarer from this mine, as this zone is nearly depleted.
