Item Description

A superb modified, octahedral cuprite crystal from the famous Emke Mine at Onganja, Namibia. This cutie has been etched out from under a coating of malachite, as a bit of malachite remains and the cuprite faces are pitted. The surfaces retain excellent luster. This crystal is complete all-around and is pristine. The frontlit and UNRETOUCHED backlit photos highlight the gemminess and intense, cherry-red color saturation.
