Color-zoned gemmy topaz crystals of this excellent quality are very uncommon from this less well-known Chinese locality. This striking, glassy, transparent to translucent, well-striated crystal has a classic textbook chisel termination. The termination faces are lightly frosted/etched. The upper half is a pretty blush blue with a sharp demarcation to the bluish-green of the lower half. A bit of attached albite on one side is a nice accent. Complete all-around and essentially pristine, with only very trivial bruising at the base of the termination on the back side. 28 grams. Value of this rarity??
