Item Description

Three, sharp, partially gemmy, twinned cassiterite crystals are very aesthetically set on matrix on this very fine, old-time classic from the famous mines of Cornwall. Each of the very glassy crystals have a striking, gemmy, golden-orange section in the middle. The large twin is 1.1 cm. Ex Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection and obtained in a trade with the Naples Mineralogical Museum in 1978.
