A classic, gemmy, butterfly-twinned calcite crystal from the famous iron mines at Egremont. This complete all-around and pristine beauty has well-striated faces with very high luster. A nifty mold from another crystal is hard to see on the front and really adds interest to the piece. The base is included with iron oxides. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock and valued by Herb at $1250, five or more years ago. An excellent old-time Cumbria calcite.
