Item Description
A "gem" of a 2-piece deal of gemmy and lustrous, bi-colored tourmalines from the famous Himalaya Mine. Both of the crystals have very gemmy, olive-green, lower sections followed by classic, pretty "Himalaya-pink" zones. Both crystals have gemmy, pretty apple-green zone lies just below the lustrous, frosted terminations. The large crystal has a pyramidal termination, while the smaller crystal has a pinacoidal termination. Interesting. They are complete all-around and both have a bit of termination edge wear and prism side wear. Both crystals have gem nodules at the base. These are classic, well-striated, polychrome beauties from this renowned locale and would make excellent cutter material. 22 grams total weight - 13 and 9 grams each. Ex Hubert de Monmonier & University of Arizona Museum Collections (definitely older pieces).
