Item Description
Dramatically sculptural bi-colored gemmy tourmaline crystals from the Otjua Mine. The 3.6 cm doubly terminated crystal is strikingly attached to the larger crystal. The limpid, glassy crystals have bottle-green bodies with sharp, pretty subtle blush-pink terminations. The vivid pink area at the base adds much color and pizzazz. The satin lustre of the well-striated crystals obscures the true gemminess of this fine example. Complete all-around and pristine. An excellent and uncommon 360-degree gem polychrome tourmaline from the 1970s to early 1990s finds. 23 grams mass. Ex Shields Flynn Collection. Seldom on the market today. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
