Item Description
One would not expect to find the Zeolite Group species stilbite in pegmatites, but the renowned Himalaya Mine has occasionally produced specimens with stilbite. This is a striking and excellent combination minature of a gemmy and lustrous, bi-colored tourmaline crystal dramatically accented with pearlescent stilbite blades. The nifty 1 mm green zone at the water-clear termination is underlain by classic "Himalaya pink" elbaite. A rare and aesthetic 360-degree combination from the Chris Korpi Collection, a noted San Diego County pegmatite collector. 23 grams mass.
