This beautiful, large, gemmy and lustrous bi-colored Pederneira tourmaline has an interesting cityscape termination highlighted by vivid cranberry-red tips and embedded lepidolite crystals. The glassy, well-striated beauty has a rich blue-gray body that is dramatically accented with areas of lavender color. The embedded lavender and tan lepidolites and tiny tourmalines on the sides add character. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. A couple of areas on the sides, where some of the lepidolites popped off are have negligble impact to the excellent quality of this interesting and colorful tourmaline from the Uwe Strauss Collection. 43 grams mass.
