Item Description
Mineral specimens are very uncommon from this less well-known Minas Gerais pegmatite area. The jauntily angled crystal lies on the interrupted growth portion of the upright tourmaline. The crystals have gemmy bottle-green bodies grading up to translucent, teal-green terminations, that have light iron oxide coating (much lighter than the photos show). An adorable and rare tourmaline. Classic, old-time material from the 1960s or 1970s.
