A beautiful, bi-colored, gemmy tourmaline from the famous Santa Rosa Mine. The uppper section is very gemmy and has pleasing hues of green. The middle is gemmy, gorgeous, rich teal-blue. The base is opaque, super dark purple. The textbook trigonal crystal is complete all-around and the termination is broken. The luster of the well-striated beauty is very high. This is classic, old-time and uncommon tourmaline from the famous 1960s and 70s finds. Highly representative as a display piece and would make excellent cutting material. 39 grams.
