Item Description
A very cute, bi-colored, bifurcating tourmaline from the early 2000s find at this small pegmatite. The base of this gemmy and lustrous crystal is a pretty pink. The gemmy and glassy upper section is a tasteful mint-green. The multiple terminations and the rounded pyramidal tips are a striking accent. The two clean repairs: one in the green near the pink contact; and the other to one of the termination crystals are noted, but have minimal impact to the overall fine and aesthetic quality of this cutie. Ex Ed Bancroft Collection and obtained from the Gochenours, owners of the mine. 13.14 carats or over 2.5 grams.
