Item Description

A beautiful, gemmy and lustrous, bi-colored tourmaline from the famous Himalaya Mine. Most of the crystal is a very gemmy, olive-green, followed by a classic, pretty "Himalaya-pink" zone. A 2 mm, sharp green zone, lies just below the lustrous, frosted termination. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only very trivial sidewear and a bit of termination edgewear. A classic, well-striated, polychrome beauty from this renowned locale. 22 grams. Ex Hubert de Monmonier & University of Arizona Museum Collections (definitely an older piece).
