Item Description
The famous Rocket Pocket is so-named because of the pink core of the etched basal sections of the watermelon elbaites projected outward, like the flames from a rocket. This tapered, parallel-growth, bi-colored, gemmy crystal has a nifty steep termination and colors that range from olive-green to apple-green to teal-blue to light green. You can see hints of the pink core lower in the crystal. The cleavelandite on a side is a nice accent. Complete all-around, the bit of noted termination edge wear is only a modest detraction. Rare and desirable elbaite from the famous Pederneira Mine. Valued at $1250. 20 grams mass.
