Gemmy bi-colored Tourmaline

A classic, older, bi-colored, gemmy tourmaline from the famous Himalaya Mine. The thin, etched termination is very dark purple or black. A very thin, less than 1 mm zone of pretty indicolite-blue follows. The gorgeous, gemmy, apple-green to teal-blue zoned is 4 mm thick and is followed by the gemmy, 1.7 cm, bottle-green zone. A green sheath encloses schorl on the lower section. There is a repair about 1/5 up from the bottom which can be undone, leaving a shorter but complete all-around and pristine piece, or left and it really does not detract visually.
