Item Description
A classic, very colorful, bi-colored tourmaline from the famous Pederneira Mine. This gemmy and lustrous cutie is a teal-blue, indicolite with a vivid pink core. The teal-blue zone above the core is gemmier and the frosted, moderate luster, termination is purple. The embedded sidecar crystal adds character. A bit of termination edgewear and contacting near the base are noted, but are modest detractions to this attractive crystal. The backlit photo really highlights the pretty pink and teal-blue color saturations. Highly representative material from this renowned locale. 20 grams.
