Item Description
A beautiful gemmy translucent bi-colored tourmaline with tapered form and an uncommon pinacoidal termination from Pech. A 3 mm gem light teal-green termination crowns the very glassy, highly lustrous, well-striated, parallel-growth crystal with pretty hues of bubblegum-pink, that increase with intensity down the crystal. The rosette of lavender lepidolite at the base is a nice accent to this nearly pristine 360-degree classic cutie. The acceptable contacting at the base is certainly only a modest detraction. 100.06 carats or 20 grams mass. Valued at $400-600. Better in person, the gemminess, glassiness and lustre made photography difficult.
