Gemmy bi-colored Elbaite (Pala Intl. Coll.)

Item Description

A gorgeous bi-colored, doubly terminated, floater tourmaline from the early 2000s find at this small pegmatite. The body of this distinctly tapered, gemmy, lustrous and well-striated, layered crystal is a pretty bubble gum-pink. Both terminations are gem, starkly contrasting light green. The sidecar crystal adds super pizzazz. Five clean repairs are noted, but have very minimal impact to the overall fine and aesthetic quality of this cutie.
