Steve Smale is well-known for collecting only the finest pristine specimens and this is an outstanding large Jalgaon apophyllite. The spectacular, 7.4 cm, bi-colored, glassy beauty is partially doubly terminated. The striking, steeply pyramidal termination is water-clear, colorless, like a cut gemstone above the pretty mint-green body. The crystal is dramatically accented with smaller apophyllites, embedded pearlescent stilbites and the very sculptural, pastel-pink, drusy quartz matrix. A really STUNNING Jalgaon apophyllite. Valued at $1500-2000 and worth it. A top one-percenter. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
