Item Description

A juicy pretty pink morganite crystal from Afghanistan. The gemmy and lustrous, hexagonal crystal is a complete all-around floater, with the left edge and back being contacted, but with no damage per se. The sharp front and edge faces are super glassy. The frontal faces are water-clear and the edge faces are frosted. You can look right in and through much of the crystal and you can barely see a bruise by a lower right edge! A very fine, gemmy, fairly large example of the species and locale. 172 grams mass. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON! The extreme glassiness made photography difficult. Valued at $2000.
