Item Description
Sharp, lustrous, gemmy to partially gemmy, indigo-blue, benitoite crystals are nicely scattered on the contrasting serpentine matrix covered with white natrolite. The large benitoite is 1.2 cm and the crystals have classic hexagonal form. A single, lustrous, sharp, amber-brown, 2 mm, joaquinite crystal is a super accessory. Joaquinite is an ultra rare cerium silicate and the famous Dallas Gem Mine is the Type Locality. This is a classic, aesthetic and excellent combination piece from the famous Dallas Gem Mine, with much GEMMIER than average benitoites. The backlit photos highlight the gemminess and classic color saturation. VERY RARE in this combination. Valued $1250. This locale is extinct. From now on, the remaining specimens only go up in value, mark my words.
