Gemmy Bastnesite-(Ce) ex Obodda

A 7 mm, textbook, gemmy/translucent, honey-brown bastnesite crystal is aesthetically set amongst pearlescent microcline crystals on granite gneiss matrix from the now famous finds at Zagi Mountain, Pakistan, peaking in around 2007-2009. The crystals has textbook hexagonal form for this rare cerium carbonate. It is from this find that redefines what the average collector can get for the top of the species.
