Item Description
A 7 mm, textbook, gemmy/translucent, honey-brown bastnesite crystal is aesthetically set amongst pearlescent microcline crystals on granite gneiss matrix from the now famous finds at Zagi Mountain, Pakistan, peaking in around 2007-2009. The crystals has textbook hexagonal form for this rare cerium carbonate. It is from this find that redefines what the average collector can get for the top of the species. It displays well from both directions. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Herb valued this showy and excellent combination matrix piece at $400, more than five years ago.
