Item Description
A gorgeous, gemmy, bastnesite crystal from recent finds at Zagi Mountain, Pakistan. The beautiful colors vary from rich golden-amber to yellow-green, depending on the light source. The crystal has textbook hexagonal form typical for this RARE cerium carbonate. These crystals have stellar intense color, gemminess, luster, and form. Complete all-around. The out-of-sight back has a contact with no damage, per se and a very modest bit of contacting/bruising near the base. This is an excellent, highly representative and very gemmy example of this rare species. This find redefines what the average collector can get for the top of the species. The backlit photo highlights the incredibly rich golden-amber color and gemminess of this fine thumbnail. Valued at $400-500.
