Very glassy, gemmy, straw-yellow stout tabular barite crystals form a dramatic, sculptural and very fine large two-sided specimen from the famous Meikle Mine. The striking large crystal on the crest is 3.4 cm long on edge. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, for such a large and dense specimen, with only a few hard-to-see gently bruised crystals lower on the piece. The piece displays very well without aid. Choice material from the Madrid Collection and valued at $1000.
