Gemmy Azurite on Malachite

Item Description

Splendent, deep azure-blue, blocky azurite crystals with with LOTS of striking "electric-blue" gemminess on the starkly contrasting sculptural malachite crust form an aesthetic miniature from the recent finds at the Milpillas Mine. The large cluster on the right is 2.6 cm. The azurites on this cutie are nearly pristine, with only a trivial bit of edgewear to the small crystal. A bit of bruising is noted to the malachite. Valued at $300-400. For the size, this is a fine combination piece.
