Gemmy Aquamarine xls w/ Muscovite (New Find)

Item Description

An imposing, sculptural, dense diverging cluster of gemmy, very glassy, lustrous aquamarine crystals from a NEW FIND at Nagar. Gem, water-clear light-blue modified pinacoidal terminations rest atop rich ice-blue translucent bodies. The variable length and sheer number of hexagonal prisms and the pearlescent muscovite plates add dramatic quality to the piece. The striking front is pristine, except for the contacting at the base. The attachment on the back is out-of-sight. A very showy and aesthetic, dense cluster of richly colored aquas accented with muscovites from a new find. Better in person, as the glassiness, lustre and gemminess made photography difficult. The piece has several fine display views.
