Item Description

Extremely glassy, highly lustrous aquamarine crystals form a sculptural intergrown 360-degree small cabinet from a NEW FIND at Nagar. Many of the light ice-blue crystals are water-clear gem, while others have gem terminations and translucent bodies or are translucent. The large gemmy/translucent crystal with the modified termination is 3.1 x 3.0 x 2.3 cm. The variable length, sheer number of hexagonal prisms and the prism setting add dramatic quality to the piece. Contacting on the sides, where other crystals once lay, have very limited damage. A showy, dense cluster of nicely colored aquas from a new find. MUCH BETTER in person, as the glassiness, luster and gemminess made photography difficult.
