Item Description

A dramatic and aesthetic, two-sided jackstraw cluster of aquamarine crystals from the Erongos. These glassy, rich blue crystals are unusually gemmy throughout their entire length, which is very uncommon for Erongo aquas. Most aquas have gemmy terminations with translucent bodies. The longest crystal is 2.9 cm (on the back) and it is doubly terminated. The longer primary crystals are pristine, except for one with side wear. The scattered broken crystals in the cluster are certainly a modest detraction. Excellent, uncommonly gemmy, two-sided material from the Erongos.
