Item Description

An intense-blue, very color-saturated, gemmy aquamarine from new finds in Vietnam. The color is extreme and reminds me only of a very few Jos aquamarines I have seen in the past, quite more robust than aquamarines from Pakistan or Brazil. This elegant crystal is complete-all-around, 360 degrees and has an etched, crevasse-like, pyramidal termination characteristic of this pocket. The angled gem crystals at the base really add character. We have just received more accurate locality information for this find. 43.4 carats or over 8 grams. Valued at $1500 by the previous owner, a gem dealer I traded it out of. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
