A striking and beautiful aquamarine crystal from the less well-known Padre Paraiso area of Minas Gerais. The very glassy, water-clear to translucent, highly lustrous crystal has vivid greenish-blue color, textbook hexagonal form and a dramatic, sharp, bullet-shaped, modified, pinacoidal termination. The interior veils and inclusions and side car crystal adds much character, as the photos show. In fact, it looks like there is a "faden" or string running down the center of the crystal.
