A very interesting and sculptural, gemmy/translucent pair of parallel-growth, glassy, fine ice-blue aquamarine crystals from the Shigar Valley. The limpid termination zone is dramatically accented by the subtle dense interior layering and areas of gemminess. The overall hexagonal crystal form is textbook and the bit of albite on one side is a nice accessory. The striking, etched/frosted termination adds pizzazz. Pristine. Highly representative, showy and unusual aquamarine from the Shigar Valley. 28 grams mass.
