Item Description
Blue willemite is the most desirable varietal of the species from the famed extinct Tsumeb Mine. This cute and sculptural thumbnail is composed of intergrown spherical aggregates of nubby, glassy, translucent pretty powder-blue willemite with a rich dusting of sparkly microcrystalline reddish Mn-rich willemite. The piece glows when back lit. Ex Charles Lemanski Collection and acquired in 1998. Classic and desirable blue Tsumeb willemite from the first find there.
