A classsic and beautiful old-time gem watermelon tourmaline from the famous Santa Rosa Mine. The 1.0 cm water-clear gem termination section is teal-blue grading downward to teal-green. The gem, rich pink core of this very glassy, highly lustrous and well-striated cutie is surrounded by a teal-green rind. Embedded muscovites add character. Complete all-around. The termination has a small bruise and contacting is notely on two prism faces, but there is very little actual damage. A fine and seldom available old-time classic from the 1960s or 70s. 12 grams mass.
