Item Description

A gorgeous, highly lustrous, gem, vivianite blade from the famous Blackbird Mine. The color is a beautiful teal-blue and the sharp, modified, termination is a pleasing purple. NOTE THE PURPLE COLOR ATOP - easily visible when the piece is lit at an angle, but trending green when lit poorly or from the side. The purple color is indicative of this locality, closed since the 1960s. Old and choice material. The gemminess of this crystal is top notch. Ex Harold Urish Collection.
