This mine has produced what are clearly some of the finest quality vivianite specimens ever seen. This piece features an absolutely beautiful, lustrous, gem quality, emerald-green, sword shaped "textbook" crystal of vivianite nicely accented with a bit of reddish-brown metamorphosed sandstone. These are some of the best quality vivianite crystals you will see from any locality, hands down. Keep in mind that over 75% of the specimens from this find have had SERIOUS damage problems. This piece is in great shape compared to many I have seen, essentially pristine, and is one of the gemmier pieces I've offered from the find. I have never seen specimens of this quality, color, luster and gemminess before, not only from Bolivia, but virtually any world locality. Compare with the classic Morococala vivianite in the auction.
