Gem Tourmalines on Quartz (classic locale)

A beautiful, 3.9 cm, "Himalaya pink", gem tourmaline is aesthetically set in the side of a glassy, sharply terminated quartz crystal from the famous Himalaya Mine. The tourmaline is pristine, except for the broken base and bit of contacting on one side, with no damage, per se. A smaller, 3.0 cm, bi-colored green with pink, pencil with a broken tip is a nice accent. The highly lustrous quartz crystal is complete all-around and has only trivial edge wear. A couple of faces are contacted, but there is very little actual damage. A showy and classic Himalaya Mine combination piece.
