Item Description
An adorable gem pencil tourmaline from the renowned Himalaya Mine. The well-striated, glassy, trigonal crystal has a classic "Himalaya pink" body followed by a water-clear light pink zone below the raspberry-red pyramidal termination. The lepidolite corsage on the side is a super accent and accessory. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. You can barely tell, that the small side car crystals at the base have broken tips. This fine tourmaline is actually doubly terminated, as the broken base is rehealed and there are tiny tourmalines embedded in the face. Ex Bill Larson San Diego County Pegmatite Collection, former owner of the mine and long on display at his Pala International shop in Fallbrook. 6 grams mass. A really cute and classic Himalaya tourmaline with lepidolite.
