Item Description
Glorious grass-green color characterizes this unusually glassy and bright, parallel-growth crystal cluster of layered elbaite crystals from this famous pegmatite. The upper 6 mm of the crystal has a pretty indicolite-blue tint below the very glassy, water-clear termination. The sidecars really add character to this fine trigonal crystal. The crystal GLOWS when backlit. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. A termination corner has a slight bruise and another termination corner and prism edge are gently scuffed. These have minimal impact to this classy elbaite. Classic old material from this famous locale. 44 grams mass. Valued at $3000. BETTER IN PERSON! The glassiness made photography difficult.
