Item Description
RARE and beautiful bi-colored gem tourmaline from a most obscure Pakistan pegmatite - the Gowinggo Mine. Most of the very glassy, highly lustrous, well-striated trigonal crystal has vivid pink color, similar to classic "Himalaya pink" prisms from the renowned namesake California mine. AND, the shadowy green area below the highly unusual frosted to satin lustre modified pinacoidal termination adds exotic elements to this rarity. Backlighting of the layered interior really highlights the beautiful hues of this exquisite gem rarity. 35 grams mass. Vaued at $1250-1500 for rarity and high quality.
