Gem Tourmaline on Smoky Quartz & Aquamarine

Item Description

A gorgeous, 2.8 cm, bi-colored gem tourmaline is strikingly set in the face of a rare euhedral quartz crystal combination from a recent (late 2014) find at famous Barra de Salinas. The doubly terminated elbaite has beautiful variable indicolite-blue ends with a nifty teal-green mid-section. A rare and large section of a translucent robins egg-blue aquamarine is embedded on one side and part of the back and base of this impressive rarity. The quartz has multiple terminations and most of the contacting is confined sides and back of the crystal.
