Item Description

A stunning, 3.5 cm, gem, bi-colored tourmaline is aesthetically set on the side of a terminated, glassy, transparent to translucent, smoky quartz crystal from Pech. The incredibly juicy, well-striated gem has a gorgeous indicolite-blue termination, that grades downward to very pretty blue-green. The base is light mint-green. Very nearly pristine, with only a trival termination face bruise. A pristine, 1.4 cm tourmaline is nearby with smaller crystals. The sharp smoky termination is nearly pristine, having only very trivial edge wear. Contacting on the opposite side of the smoky from tourmaline is noted, but is certainly a modest detraction. The attached bladed cleavelandite is a nice accent. Such combos are very uncommon from Pech and this is an outstanding example. Valued at $3000.
