An adorable tourmaline and smoky quartz combination miniature from the famous Cruzeiro Mine. A 2.2 cm parallel-growth cluster of gem, glassy, well-striated, pretty bottle-green tourmaline crystals with very dark purple terminations is dramatically set on the side of sharply terminated, water-clear. light smoky quartz crystal. The 360-degree smoky is very nearly pristine, with only trivial edge wear. The nearly pristine tourmalines are actually doubly terminated, having a healed base, and have only trivial bit of termination edge wear to the primary tourmaline. Classic and excellent, old-time material from the 1960-70s finds at this noted pegmatite. Multiple display possibilities on this amazing cutie.
